Apple sent an email this afternoon to those who had pre-ordered an iPhone 3G S clarifying the delivery date.  Looks like they're hold firm to the June 19th street date.

Apple delaying iPhone 3G S shipments

Apple has requested UPS to hold iPhone deliveries for a "future delivery date."  It is unknow whether this is connected to the delay of the iPhone 3.0 software release, or Apple is holding to the June 19th street date.

Either way, all of us who were hoping for our iPhone 3G S today will have to wait a little longer.
